Corrective releases of X.Org Server 21.1.11 and DDX component xwayland 23.2.4 have been published. The new versions fix 6 vulnerabilities (CVE-2023-6816, CVE-2024-0229, CVE-2024-21885, CVE-2024-21886, CVE-2024-0409, CVE-2024-0408). Some of which can be exploited for privilege escalation on systems where the X server is running as root, as well as for remote code execution in configurations where X11 session redirection via SSH is used for access.
